1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the TopikIQ application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TopikIQ is a learning platform for TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) exam preparation, offering:

• AI-powered writing grading and tutoring
• TOPIK mock exams and practice questions
• Vocabulary study (2,000+ cards)
• Speaking practice (recording and transcript-based feedback)
• Study progress tracking and analytics

3. User Accounts

Registration: An account is required for full access. Limited functionality is available in Guest mode.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining your password and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Feature-specific usage limits apply by plan and are shown in the App's subscription and usage screens. Limits and included features may change as the service evolves; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law and store policy.

Trials and promotions: Free trials or promotional offers apply only when available. Eligibility, duration, post-trial price, and auto-renewal terms are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase sheet before you confirm and are governed by that store's policies. If no trial is shown at checkout, the paid subscription starts when you confirm the purchase.

Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically under the terms shown in the store purchase sheet. You can review the next charge date and amount, renewal terms, and cancellation options in your Apple or Google subscription settings.

Cancellation:

• iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > TopikIQ > Cancel
• Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > TopikIQ > Cancel

After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI features (writing feedback, tutoring, etc.) are for educational reference only. AI-generated responses are not official TOPIK exam materials and do not replace official National Institute for International Education (NIIED) resources. They may contain inaccuracies and should always be verified against official materials.

7. Intellectual Property

All App content (text, images, graphics, logos, audio) is the property of Sikppang English and is protected by copyright. You retain ownership of content you submit (essays, answers, etc.) but grant us a license to use it for service improvement. You may not copy, distribute, or modify App content without permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Engaging in or promoting illegal activities
• Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempting to compromise App security or functionality
• Sharing content that exploits or abuses minors
• Spam, phishing, fraud, or deceptive behavior
• Abusing payment or trial systems

9. Limitation of Liability

Sikppang English is not liable for the accuracy of AI tutoring, exam results, service interruptions, data loss, or the accuracy of third-party content. Liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Account Termination

We may restrict or terminate accounts for violations including illegal activity, repeated violations, fraud, or abuse of payment/trial systems. No refund or credit is owed for unused time unless required by applicable law or platform policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction applies where it cannot be waived. Disputes not resolved informally shall be submitted to the Busan District Court, Republic of Korea.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Changes are posted on this page and communicated through in-app notifications. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
