Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TopikIQ (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TopikIQ is an AI-powered mobile application designed to help users prepare for the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) examination. The Service includes adaptive quizzes, AI tutoring, vocabulary training, speaking practice, and progress analytics.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

TopikIQ offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions (Pro) are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription prices are as displayed in the app at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

5. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and the compilation thereof — are the exclusive property of TopikIQ and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, interfere with the proper working of the Service, or use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI tutor feature generates responses based on machine learning models. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. The Service should be used as a supplementary learning tool and not as a sole source of exam preparation.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that you will pass the TOPIK examination by using the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TopikIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
